Look Deeper zine is a UK based publication founded by Ellie Darby-Pragnell, the zine consists of work by disabled and chronically ill creatives exploring their feelings, opinions, experiences, and current issues.
Once Upon a Hot Crip Summer is the third edition of the zine, created over summer of 2022, it is a documentation and reflection of the experiences of young disabled people and their place in the world. The issue aims to express a spectrum of emotions, showing the positives such as disabled joy and creativity, and the negatives such as concerns over reproductive rights and a lacking mental health care system.
